CGC is to sponsor the Herald Scottish Family Business Awards 2017.
The major sponsorship announcement comes ahead of the event which takes place in December.
The Herald Scottish Family Business Awards celebrate all that’s good about Scotland’s family businesses which make a vital contribution to the Scottish economy.
They pump million of of pounds into the Scottish economy and employ tens of thousands of people.

“As a business which places great emphasis on supporting communities we have taken a keen interest in the category of COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY.
“We are always looking for ways to help the communities in which we operate and take the view that firms like ourselves have to give something back.”
CGC Finance Director Gary Tracey was on the expert judging panel which consisted of leading business figures. Herald Business Editor Ian McConnell was Chairman of the Judges.
The judges have now met to determine the shortlist with winners from each category being announced at the Awards ceremony in Glasgow on December 6.
Gary Tracey added:
“The finalists in the COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY category have demonstrated tremendous commitment to doing good things in business whether that is for individuals or communities. Being committed to communities is an essential part of modern day business practice – something which CGC supports.”
