Since 2003 CGC have established a strong track record in safe, on-time, and in-budget delivery of a wide range of complex, multi-disciplinary Projects by utilising our workforce of over 150 staff and our in-house plant and equipment.
From our 4 national offices, CGC have worked collaboratively with our Clients to provide a fully integrated delivery model, encompassing design, project, construction management and delivery.
CGC are Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme accredited (RISQS) through Achilles and our staff are Personal Track Safety (PTS) trained. We are Safe Contractor Approved and all Site Supervisors are trained in IOSH & SMSTS.
With our Civils, Building and Steel services, our capability to deliver complex infrastructure and building schemes offers our Rail Clients a “One Stop Construction Solution”.
Our in-house Rail Teams comprising Project Management, Engineering and Safety staff, and a qualified onsite workforce also work in collaboration with other non-rail clients, Train Operating Companies, and Local Authorities in the Railway Industry.

We have successfully delivered all our projects through a focus on collaboration, whilst promoting the benefits of early contractor involvement and delivering the efficiencies required by the modern Rail Industry such as Safety by Design.
Our Rail Operating Procedures are fully compliant with Railway Industry and Network Rail Standards including the Network Rail Life Saving Rules.
CGC projects are efficiently planned to protect rail operations and minimise disruption to passengers. All possession works are planned in accordance with the DWWP Process.
